About Me
Who Am I?
I’m Luca Pelzer, an aspiring IT System Integration Specialist with a growing passion for artificial intelligence. Currently in my apprenticeship, I’m building hands-on experience with enterprise technologies while diving deep into AI - from building agents to running self-hosted models.
What Do I Do?
I spend my time exploring the AI landscape - experimenting with language models, building AI agents, and running my own AI infrastructure. I believe in understanding technology from the ground up, which means not just using AI tools, but hosting and building them myself.
Core Focus Areas
- AI Agents - Building and orchestrating intelligent agents for automation and problem-solving
- Self-Hosted AI - Running local language models and AI infrastructure on my own hardware
- AI Development - Prompt engineering, API integrations, and building AI-powered applications
- Documentation - Writing about what I learn to help others on the same journey
What Do I Believe In?
- Learning by doing - The best way to understand AI is to build with it
- Owning your stack - Self-hosting AI means full control and deeper understanding
- Sharing knowledge - If I struggled with something, others probably will too
- Building in public - Documenting the journey, mistakes and all
The Infrastructure
Behind the scenes, I run my own infrastructure on Proxmox VE - hosting everything from AI workloads to this blog. It’s the foundation that lets me experiment freely with new AI technologies.
Current Stack
- Hypervisor: Proxmox VE
- AI Agents: Custom multi-agent workflows
- Local Models: Self-hosted LLMs
- Containers: LXC & Docker
- Blog: Hugo with Hugo Noir theme
